London Plane

Platanus acerifolia

The London Plane is found in Eurasia, North America and Mexico. This deciduous tree has inconspicuous spring flowers, globed-shaped fruits on hanging stalks, large alternate, palmately lobed, simple leaves. The bark has a grey, mottled flaking characteristic.

Best suited for
