Capital Pear
Pyrus calleryana capital
Originating from south-eastern China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan, the Capital Pear has features very similar to the other ornamental pears. An upright conical shape, the tree has dark green glossy leaves with a colour change in autumn. Ranging from bright orange, red, and maroon the lasting change is very popular for the suburban block. White blossoms appear in spring. As the tree matures the density, of the flowers increase, become more and more spectacular.

As the most narrow growing form of ornamental pear. The Capital Pear is ideal for gardens where a height is required but not the width. Would make a great tree to line an entrance to a property.
